The challenge
A major textile manufacturer needed to reduce freshwater intake and properly treat dye-heavy process effluent before discharge, in order to meet environmental compliance requirements and cut water procurement costs.
The solution
Skylark designed and installed a dedicated wastewater recycling plant, engineered to treat dye and process effluent to a standard suitable for reuse within the facility — reducing both the volume of fresh water drawn and the volume of effluent discharged.
The outcome
The plant went into operation over a six-month delivery window, giving the client a repeatable, lower-cost water cycle and a stronger environmental compliance position — an approach Skylark has since applied to other industrial clients across the textile and process-manufacturing sectors.
